Winning Photograph at Biodiversity Photo Contest

Photograph won 1st place in the category "Landscape" on the International Photo Contest "Biodiversity" organised by
Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia & Global Scientific Research Foundation.

The selection of winners was given to special National Geographic jury: Igor Rill, Tino Soriano & Robin Moore. Every single picture has been evaluated in detail by the jury. Contest was sponsored by National Geographic Serbia and Canon.

I have great pleasure to announce to you that my photograph with the Jadran Training Ship and a dolphin won 1st place in the category "Landscape" on the International Photo Contest "Biodiversity" organised by Institute for Nature Conservation of Serbia & Global Scientific Research Foundation. The selection of winners was given to special National Geographic jury: Igor Rill, Tino Soriano & Robin Moore. Every single picture has been evaluated in detail by the jury. Contest was sponsored by National Geographic Serbia and Canon. Award ceremony will be held on 26th October 2015 at Gallery Mećavik, Mokra Gora (Serbia) as a part of the 3rd World Biodiversity Congress.

My winning photograph was made on Voyage 2013 (Kotor-Bareltta-Bari-Kotor) which was training voyage for the students of the Kotor Maritime Faculty organised in partnership with Army of Montenegro. I wish to express my gratitude for making this photo to the Kotor Maritime Faculty and to the Army of Montenegro. Special thanks goes to my students and the crew of the Jadran Training Ship!

At the end I wish that reparation of the Jadran Training Ship will soon be finished and I also wish to be back on sea with my students soon on some new voyage with this beautiful ship!
